Out of Options

Chuckster decided tonight that nowhere in the house was good enough for his nightly slumber. He would not go into his crib ( I can't stand to listen to him cry yet.) Did not want to sleep in either of his swings. He was perfectly happy sleeping on me which would be great but it gets old after a whole day of him sleeping on me. So after many attempts to find a cozy spot to sleep, Chuck decided that the optimal place would be the bathroom. So yes, Chuck is asleep in the bathroom until his next feeding. All the lights are on, I have no idea how he finds it cozy. But he is out, so we will let him have his way and let him sleep in the bathroom. It's not child abuse, it was his decision.

Chuck dreams away in his bathroom bouncer. ( Sorry the picture is sideways!)

6 weeks!

Today we are 6 weeks old and growing fast. We are starting to grab mom's hair and are cautiously transitioning to the next size diaper! Yes, we are finally ( or almost) out of our new born diapers! We are still working on the bobble head but we will have it down in no time. We love long strolls in the morning and love nothing more than sleeping on our belly while laying on someone else's chest.... that's what calms me down. My fat rolls look little fatter than they really are but at least I got some rolls to show off!

Buddies

Chuck is finally as big as his sister! They love each other!

Perfection

Chuck and I ventured to the audiologist again today. We had a nice bottle before we went in because we are supposed to be asleep during the test. It took awhile for us to fall asleep but once we got rid of all our gas... a bit embarrassing.... we were able to fall asleep! We passed the test with flying colors! All ears are working great so there is no excuse for not following directions at home or at school!

Waking up is hard to do

Chuck takes after his father in many ways. He is definitely not a morning person. He HATES waking up. No exaggeration, it takes the little guy about 15 minutes to wake up. He grunts and stretches the whole time. He lets you know when he is ready to wake up by letting out a scream... other than that, I just let him do his thing until he is ready to get up! I love to watch all of his faces.

Pacifiers

I am all for the pacifier at this age if it helps me keep my sanity. I will worry about the taking away of the pacifier at a later date. No need to stress about that now. This guy loves his pacifier. And he especially loves this blue and white one. His first pacifier ever and some how he knows it. He prefers this one over any of them... even though they are the exact same except the color... of course I would have chosen the blue and white one too.

Chillaxin' in the Abode

He's so mellow which means hopefully he didn't get my OCD. Maybe he will have daddy's laid back ways. So far so good.

Can you tell he is growing! At first the only way he could sit in the nap nanny was if we put a stuffed animal next to him so they could share the seat. Now he can sit in it all by himself! What a big boy! He is fitting into clothes that he couldn't fit into before. His legs used to come only to the knees in these clothes and I had to roll all of the sleeves a couple of times.
