This week we celebrated colleges. Each grade was assigned a college and had to decorate our hall. During the week we talked about why it was important to go to college and we filled about "applications" to go to college and we also wrote letters to the college presidents of our college. The second grade had Ole Miss. When we wrote the letters we asked three questions to the president. One of my students asked where he went to school and how long he went to school and also wanted to know if he washes his own clothes.
We decorated our hall to look like Ole Miss and we won the pizza party for best hall!! It really didn't take too long. We spent about 5 hours doing it across several days.
