Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day Weekend consisted of lots of labor. Dr. picked up four shifts this weekend to make a little mooola for the bank. He is working so hard to pay our home insurance and property tax..... that is due at the beginning of next year. It is so nice to know it is already in savings so we don't have to rely on tax refunds. Granna and BobBob drove up to help with little man since Dr. was working the night shift. I had planned on doing my cooking for September this weekend. I was able to go to the store and get some things in the freezer. Chuck is still at an age where it is impossible to go shopping. He won't stay in his car seat and he is not big enough to sit up on his own yet so I am out of options at this point. I think in about 2 weeks we will be able to ride in a cart without the possibility of falling over.

I thought Chuck might be taking too much formula especially since he is eating twice a day so I was trying to take away his mid day bottle which was replaced with fruits or veggies. He was sleeping really well before I switched him up and now he is waking up for another bottle at night. So it hasn't really cut down on anything. I don't think you are supposed to replace formula with veggies until 9 months so I may just let him keep his bottle. Maybe I will try and make them a little smaller. He seemed to be happy so, again, I will let him decide. He has made the decision on the rest of his schedule. I think they are supposed to have 2 oz for every pound..... um, he is large but I guess you shouldn't put a baby on a diet so little man is going to get whatever he wants.... unless he happens to sleep really well tonight! I don't really know why I tried to through a speed bump in his schedule since he was doing so well. I guess I just needed some more stress in my life.

Here are some quick pics from the weekend:

The Chuckmiester gets his first jacket.
A cold front came in this weekend and it was 56 one morning!
It will be perfect to throw on for the ride to school every morning.

Chilling on a blanket in the front yard.... well in Ms. Gingers front yard since we don't have any trees for shade. No, we still can't tame that hair.
