match day

i was going through our camera and came across this video. brings back memories. memories of uncertainty. it's funny that we were playing the waiting game then and now we are still playing a the waiting game, just a different one. so thankful that we ended up in jackson. i think it was the best fit for us and our growing family. look at dr. face at the end. how much relief he was experiencing when he found out he matched!

lily of the nile

our agapanthus is finally blooming in our front yard. well one of the two is blooming. two months late but it is bloooming!

picture difference

since we noticed a difference in the pictures just in a week, we wanted to make sure conditions were the same. we realized that last week the overhead was on so we took another picture. so here is another 7 week 3 day picture. go to the actual blog and scroll down for the picture from last week to compare.

7 week 3 days

this is picture number two. we are guessing that i am about 7 weeks 3 days. same clothes, same room, different week. we are still not getting excited because we haven't seen baby weber ( laney calls it "pinto") and we haven't heard the heart beat. i am not having symptoms except i get shaky if i wait too long to eat or have a snack. i have to eat breakfast now. also my boobs are the most painful thing i have ever experienced ( i know... TMI... but that is really the only symptom i a having). i am not feeling sick and i am not too tired. i am tired by friday but i think i was like that last year. oh, and my pants won't button or zip ( i need like an extra 3 inches) so i am wearing the bella band. it is a band that goes around your pants and covers up the zipper and button and it just looks like you have a tank top on. oh my belly has started to itch. i guess all the poison ivy this summer really prepared me for the itchiness i am experiencing. i am trying not to scratch too much because i read that it can cause your stretch marks to be worse. i got some body butter to put on the tumm-o. well, keep baby weber in your prays and hope that he ( i call it a he and dr. calls it a she) has a heart and all his appendages when we go to the doctor in 2 1/2 weeks on september 16th.

little bit

the new little kitty still has no name. i am calling him little bit. i thought his name was kirby but dr. has vetoed that. he will become part of the weber family on thursday. he has started using the litter box at mama and daddy's but still refuses to eat anything unless it comes from a bottle. today he was playing on his back with daddy and managed to pee like a fountain all over himself. little bit had his second bath ever today! here is a video from two weeks ago when he was about three weeks. he loves his bottles.
