Fridge Thief

Someone rearranged the fridge and I caught him red handed.

And then later, he decided to feed the whip cream to the kitties.

I got a phone call today from daycare that said Chuck hit his nose and had a bloody nose. I guess the infant room is getting a little small for the kid. He spent the rest of the day with the big kids and we got our first big kid report! He had two snacks and ate all of them. He at just some of his lunch which was lasagna, peas & carrots, a roll, fruit and milk.

The report says that today he had story-time, sung songs, danced, did puzzles, played with blocks, painted, and played with his friends. He is so freaking cute. His teacher is potty training two of the older kids who will be going to the 2 year old room soon. She takes them to the bathroom every ten minutes..... ten minutes.... how was there time to have story-time, sing songs, dance, do puzzles, play with blocks, paint and play with friends when the teacher is in the bathroom every ten minutes. Sheesh, I think I will stick with 2nd grade!

We had a baby shower for a resident's wife at our house today. It forced me to do intense cleaning which would have happened anyway but it would have taken me a long time. I only get to clean ( dust, vacuum) on breaks ( Fall break, Christmas, Spring break and summer.) I know for real.... how yucky. The house is clean for now. Chuck will wake up in 9 hours so it will be wrecked soon.

Well, if you don't like curse words, I would stop reading now.

My parents told me they had ordered me a book and I should get it sometime soon in the mail. I would also know it was from them when I got it. I thought.... Ok, they must have ordered me something for a little summer reading. There is one author that writes about Savannah and she is due out with her next book. Sweet!

Um, I got this book in the mail. And no, I would not have guessed it was from them unless they had told me. I just got it today so haven't talked to them.... surely they didn't send me this book. Would someone like to take responsibility for this or do I have to finally admit that my parents might be cool... just a little bit.

I totally relate though.

Poopin', Eatin', Slidin'

Poopin' or playing hide and go seek? Both! Chuck was rather chipper this morning while we were getting ready for school.

Yesterday I told you that Chuck thought we were getting in the pool instead of going to school. When I picked him up yesterday the first thing he did was look at me from across the room and say pool. So I brought him home, put him in a swim diaper, and took him to his pool. He immediately started screaming and running away from it, so we came inside. I guess he didn't want to go swimming after all.

This morning before school, we sat down and got the whole "school" and "pool" words down. It is funny how he can't say the "sch" so it makes the two words sound totally different. You would think that since he can say pool so well that school might kind of sound like it. Nope.

Today after school, he didn't mention the pool so I decided we would forgo the pool since he refused to get in yesterday. We ate dinner and were about to get in the tub. Then he said "pool". I figured that he wouldn't actually get in but that I would take him and show him the pool just to prevent any meltdowns. Apparently the little guy did want to swim. He climbed right in while still in his clothes.

Chuck is getting to be such a big boy. He totally understands me now ( doesn't mean he does what I say) and even makes conversations with me by his facial expressions. He is still talking a lot and is talking in gibberish sentences.

We have moved to the big boy booster seat. The high chair made it into the attic today. He loves the booster seat and gets extra excited when daddy sits down with him and eats ( except he eats all of daddy's food).

Back to School

For Chuck at least.... Unfortunately, he thought I said that we were going to POOL instead of school and really was not happy when we walked past the pool and got in the car. I hope today turns out better than this morning! I reckon we will get in the pool after school!

Bandaids

We just cut our thumb and have our first bandaid on. He totally doesn't understand. He keeps trying to get.me to take it off but I just keep on giving it a kiss.




I just had to put one on so he would stop worrying about it,
