Week 32

On Wednesday, we will hit 32 weeks! Here is what is going on with Baby Chuck now.....

By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.

First of all, if anyone can tell me what a Jicama is without googling it, I have a hundred dollars for them! Second of all, we know Chuck is a little bit bigger than average so I am probably carrying a little over 4 pounds of pure baby. And with his long legs he is more that 16.7 inches. I will not admit to gaining a pound a week and think I may decline looking at the scale at our appointment on Monday!

If you want to see what Baby Chuck probably looks like in the womb you can go here .

Cutie Patootie

OK, just have to share some of the cute clothes I have found for our little angel. He is going to be the studliest stud! Some of you have already seen these but I thought the ones that hadn't seen them would like to talk to the pictures in baby talk just like I talk to the clothes in baby talk.

Mom and I hit up a place called the Ginger House in Mobile to look at their sale items. We found this cute green corduroy outfit. The reindeer it buttoned onto the outfit so it can be flipped inside out and it has a race car on it and then you can completely take it off and get it monogrammed! Three outfits in one! The brown outfit has cowboys and boots on it. COuld not pass it up because of his Texan daddy!

These are two bubbles I found. I thought they would be great when he meets people at sip and sees! They are different sizes though so don't think I am going over board! When he grows out of one, he will move on to the next one!

I thought these were just too cute! Loved the blue color of the train and the cute corduroy pants that go with it. And how could I pass up a guitar outfit... the pants are red and white checked.

One of the wives in our wives alliance sews clothes (www.browniegoose.com). It is a lot more fun to think of things for little girls but I just had to order Baby Chuck something because every resident's child is dressed in brownie goose. So I chose a seersucker plaid john john and just a cute t-shirt for Chuck to wear to daycare.

Did I mention this is going to be the cutest little man I know. Melts my heart when I think about what he is going to look like! I am betting on a Dr. replica!!!

I will share some of the shower gifts soon! I just like to look at these clothes everyday just for fun!
