Weaning

Apparently Smith is weaning himself from nursing. I weaned Chuck around 3 1/2 to 4 months so I feel it is "even". Ha!

Smith cries and fusses during the day when he is nursing. He nurses great during the night and first thing in the morning. During the day when he doesn't want to nurse, he takes a bottle so easily.

We have made progress on the sleeping front. The past four nights Smith has slept on his back in a pack and play in my closet. He has been going to bed at 7, waking to eat at 3, and then going back down until 7! Wahoo! Tonight Dr. insisted on Smith sleeping in the crib. I have 3 monitors in there! Let's hope for a good night and that the boys do not wake each other. That's my fear!

Smith loves his doorway jumper. (Yes, he's in the pantry. The other doorways have too much crown moulding to hold the jumper!)

I guess it is time to use the seatbelt!

Easter Weekend

Dr. is off this weekend and the weather has been warm. Yesterday we walked down the alley to the lake. Smith and I walked while dad and Chuck fished. Then Chuck walked 3 times around the lake. I bet its about 1/3 to 1/2 a mile. We saw a man with a remote control boat. We caught 3 fish, a baby turtle, and a roly poly. We ate some snack and just had fun.

Drew gave me the title of supermom because at one point I was fishing, holding Smith, and ordering a piece of furniture over the phone.

Today I continued super mom status by taking the boys for a walk. Chuck was in the stroller (30lbs) and Smith was in the moby wrap on the front of me (15lbs). I think I got a pretty good workout. It makes it better that both boys got a nap during the walk. I think that is what pushed it to super mom status.

Busy Body

Phew! The last week has been a crazy one. I ran around getting ready for Chuck's birthday party and my parents coming into town.

Smith is starting to belly laugh and reach for things. He is thinking about holding a bottle but only has a bottle about two times a week. He is enjoying his Granna and Bob Bob. I am so thankful there is someone se around to hold him!
