Funny Boy

Open Wide!

Yep, here it is. A video of Chuck's first bite. He wasn't too excited about it but by the end he understood the idea that he had to open his mouth. The whole eating thing was a little hard because he couldn't keep his arms still. At one point he even took the spoon away from daddy!

Adventures of a Tuesday

Well, it was just another Tuesday around the Weber abode. Chuckers has been going to daycare at 7am the past two days. And no, he doesn't seem to notice but Mom still feels guilty. At least we aren't going to have attachment problems. I got to daycare today to pick him up and noticed the secretary was holding him in the front office. I immediately knew he must have been fussy and too much to handle in the classroom. The secretary said he was just fine but she knew that I always came around that time to pick him up and she just wanted to get to play with him before he left. She just adores his little dimples.

Our little man on the way to daycare bright and early this morning.

Daddy feeds the Chuckmiester his first bite ever!

Didn't really go to well!

Crazy Cat

OK, I have told people that Samer is crazy lately. I have been saying that he uses the wall as some type of race track. I finally got a video! It is very short so you need to pay attention. Watch the lower right hand corner of the video. As Samer runs through the house he uses the wall when he rounds the corners. I mean Off The Wall crazy. No pun intended!

4 Months Old!!!

Our little cutie patootie turned four months on Saturday! I can't believe we have been a family of three that long. I also can't believe I haven't slept in four months! Today we had our 4 month check up and shots. When we went at 2 weeks, we were in the 10th percentile at 7.1 pounds. Today, at 4 months we were in the 90th percentile at 17 1/2 pounds!!!! We are also in the 90th% with our head ( at least our head matched our body!) and our height comes in at the 50th% at 2 feet and 3/4 inches. He did awesome! He squirmed a little bit but the bugs bunny bandaids took care of any pain!

We were given permission to start cereal and baby food at our discretion. She said that babies will be very interested in what you are eating and that is when you know to start giving them some of their own food. Makes since why Chuck couldn't take his eyes off of Dr.'s juicy hamburger the other night.

Chuck could not stop laughing and smiling at the doctor. I think he is turning into a real flirt! He did have a little fluid behind his ears that we have to watch. She said she doesn't expect it to turn into an infection and that she expected it since I said he had been sick.

Mommy's bags under her eyes have gotten a little bit smaller!

Um hello! You notice all the hair we have coming in!!

Our widows peak that we got from daddy is rounding out a little bit. I guess we have a widow's scallop now. I think Chuckman also got his pouty lip from daddy.

Spaghetti?

This is what happens when 7 ER wives are pregnant...... well kinda..... that just means there are more marathon cooking days to come. Today, Chuck and I cooked 3 big pots of spaghetti. Some of the spaghetti is a Mommy Meal for one of the girls that had her baby. ( Everyone was so wonderful when Chuck arrived that we have so many people to pay back!) Another container is going to a friend at school that had stomach surgery a couple of weeks ago. There is a container for our dinner tonight and the rest will go in the freezer for the "mommy is too tired to cook days" once school starts. Unfortunately, I don't think this will make a dent in the "mommy is too tired to cook days" but at least I got a teeny head start.
