We ended up at the lake for Memorial Day. I had so much help with Smith. It was wonderful being able to spend some one on one time with Chuck. We haven't been a twosome in 5 months! We went Saturday morning and Dr. ended up coming Sunday night. We were going to head home on Monday but we decided to keep Chuck out of school Tuesday and stay an extra day.

We found a ladybug that landed on Chuck's shirt and poppy's shoulder!
Chuck really worked on his swimming (and not choking on water). He even got to swim with poppy's fake ducks.
Nothing like a good boat ride-induced nap.
Chuck fell in love with the puppy dog cake Marmee brought home from the store.
We watched fireworks. (I like this picture because it looks like a heart.)
Chuck caught several fish!
And worked on his potty training.
Smith slept
And slept (which is very unusual)
Captain Chuck helped drive the boat.
Baby Smith played (which is also rare). He prefers to be held.
Chuck and I had a date to play miniature golf.
We had a great time but we are all happy to get back to our daily routine!
