Under the Weather

I haven't posted in a while but I have good reason. So where did I leave off? Oh yes, so Monday, Chuck was still wheezing. One of our friends is a doctor at a medical clinic just down the road. We snuck Chuck in to see her, thru the back door past the 15 people in line. We wanted a chest x-ray to see if there was anything in his lungs. He had tested negative for everything else so this was our last hope. Anyways, the chest x-ray showed a touch of pneumonia. Chuck is currently feeling great and taking antibiotics and some other type of medicine to try and get those lungs cleared out. Marmee drove down late Monday night and got to spend time with the Chuckster on Tuesday and Wednesday while mom and dad worked. By the time Marmee left on Wednesday night, Chuck was following her around and didn't much care for mom. They had inside jokes and he is even understanding when to wave now! They must have had a grand ol' time. He was able to return to daycare on Thursday.

Now, mom is sick. I knew that I couldn't skip the sickness after the amount of kisses I have gotten and the amount of drool that has made it into my mouth when he is using me as a climbing gym. Luckily, today was a snow day for me. I was still able to get Chuck to daycare so I got to get some much needed rest on the couch with my fat kitty cat.

We woke up an hour later than normal this morning so while I was getting the car warmed up, Dora came on. Like I said, Chuck loves Dora. ( and yes, that's the graceful fat kitty in the background)

Chuck is back to his old inquisitive self and sporting an early Valentines present form his Aunt Koko. He looks like such a big boy in his new sweatshirt.

Tonight you should get some video. I was really wondering if Chuck should be able to use a spoon by now. Whenever I feed him, he gets his own spoon so he won't grab mine. Well, he is going to get to experiment tonight so bring on the mess, bring on the food thrown across the kitchen, bring on the fun. I am going to let him experiment so he can start working on those motor skills. Pray for us.
